SurModics Buys CodeLink Slide Business from
GE to Bolster Growing In Vitro Tech Unit

SurModics has played a large role in the manufacture of the CodeLink slides since Motorola first developed them in the late 1990s. A SurModics official said the acquisition, for an undisclosed amount, is convenient for both GE and SurModics to have the slide manufacturer also sell and support the product.
